Tunic turned mini

Tunic from Marks & Spencer, heels and clutch TJMaxx

I know what you're thinking - this is not a tunic! I swear it is- I raided my mums closet for one of her tunics because I wanted something to relax in, needless to say my curves turned this tunic into a mini! Not such a bad problem to have I guess…this tunic's not available anymore but I've linked to a few that will be cute for the constant weather changes. Does anyone else have this problem by the way?

Manis - the cheap girls therapist

There was a time when manicures were reserved for special occasions but now "getting your nails did" is a norm for the majority of women. I consider myself a savvy shopper ( hello TJMaxx & Homegoods!) but when it comes to my nails I absolutely will go to a nail bar. The idea of sitting down for a full 45 minutes and being taken care of has me on cloud 9.

Is it wrong that I'm ok with paying to feel special? Could it be that todays manicurist is really the cheap girls substitute for a therapist? Whatever the answer is, there's something so addictive about glancing down at my nails and seeing a fresh coat of polish glistening up at me...

Bad Hair Day

Crooks cap, Nordstrom Leather jacket, Freepeople top, Joes Jeans at TJMaxx

We've all experienced a bad hair day probably more than once this year alone ( please tell me I'm not alone in this conundrum). Some days like today not even a high bun or messy ponytail fixes the issue, so that's when dipping into bae's wardrobe works wonders. Pick from one of his snapbacks so you can easily adjust to fit better. I went with neutral colors to compliment the green I was wearing. I'm kind of glad I had a bad hair day today because the Crooks cap added more style to my whole fit! It's funny how things just work themselves out.

Table Setting Ideas

My favorite part of having guests over is getting creative with the table setting. There's no point sweating over a hot stove making every Thanksgiving dish known to man only to plop it on the table. Think about who your guests are and come up with a theme based on their likes. If there's going to be a mixed number of adults and children the chalkboard place mats work great for side games of tic - tac - toe and doodles. Having a table for the adults and another for the kids? Make the distinction in decor. Fresh seasonal fruit and rich colorful ribbons work perfectly for the Holiday. Get the kids involved by having them spell out the children's names with their scrabble pieces. For those of you that are feeling overwhelmed with the thought of an entire table setting try adorning each guests chair with festive ribbon. Whatever you decide to try, remember to take a step back and appreciate your surroundings. Enjoy having the day off my loves.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Eyelavish - Jewels of the week

I literally just came across this line last night and knew I had to show it to you guys! Somebody hide my ATM card because there's way too many stand out pieces to choose from on the Eyelavish website.  I adore that the jewelry is reminiscent of middle eastern design. Makes me feel rather nostalgic.
