Eshakti.com

OUTFIT DETAILS: eShakti dress ℅, Forever21 belt, M&S pinstripe shirt, Steve Madden at Marshalls shoes, Dior shades

Happy Hump Day - we're halfway to the weekend! I'm feeling very sassy and 'take over the world' mode today so I 'pick & mixed' my outfit. In other words a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Normally the pockets would be my favorite part of the dress but I'm in love with how versatile this eShakti dress is. It's muted colors allow it to be reserved and yet create the perfect canvas for styling it as wild as I want. The best part about eShakti is they let you customize all of their pieces so you can really make it a one of a kind piece. What do you think about florals, pinstripes and studded belts?

Paisley Blues

Another joy I (re)found amongst all the moving boxes is this paisley number. The belt is still hiding somewhere so I took inspiration from Carrie Bradshaw in the SATC movies and added a studded belt. I probably should have slipped on some heels for my corporate job but Tasha fierce said screw it and thus I stuck to these lovelies from Marshalls. By the way I can't get over dresses with pockets - love 'em so much!

Priorities First

Let me start off by saying I'm so sorry for being MIA! Being a single parent and moving is not an easy task, my spare time is consumed with moving boxes and putting Ikea furniture together! Plus I still don't have internet connection yet so I have momentarily abandoned my blog for a handyman apprenticeship.  Ok so maybe I'm not that talented with a screwdriver and hammer but it's amazing what assembling a swedish bookcase will do to your ego. In regards to my outfit if you could call it that - what do you think? Too plain? Don't even try to diss the Birkenstocks! They are a saving grace of comfort whilst moving in warm California weather. Let me know what you think and I'll check back in with you in a week!

Boss Lady

As you know I wore this outfit to a meeting I had with the Chief of Staff for Congressman Schiff. I needed to be professional but I didn't want to lose my sense of style so I mixed patterns in a very subtle way. I'm feeling very Boss Lady!
Have an amazing day, xoxo Tasha!
