The only time I would have the guts to wear this is on a girls night out. It's sassy, it's fun and reminds me of something Samantha from SATC would wear. While not my style icon I admire her boldness and 'love thyself' attitude. Maybe next girls night out I'll feel wild enough to wear this…would you?

Prints & Denim

Even though the days are warm sometimes I'm just not in the mood to wear full on Summer dresses. This dress actually has cut outs at the back but I changed the whole look by covering up with a oversized denim shirt. It still needed a little something so I grabbed this colorful purse and hit the town. I hope you all have a great start to the week! Happy Monday!

Coachella Inspired

Let's face it, unless you work for a rockstar Coachella fashion is not exactly everyday attire. Black Blossoms

It may be Spring but all of a sudden there's a slight chill in the air - as my grandmother says; "Don't cast a clout till May is out". It's an old English saying that makes far more sense across the pond than it does in LA. Although the subtle pink blush of flowers across a sea of black is the right amount of Summer teasing.

Sweater Dressing

I'm sorry for the hiatus but last week was a tough one, between a trip to urgent care and ending the week by losing my voice!But I'm slowly getting back to normal. The weather here in Cali is killing me - yes it's beautiful but I really just want to wear my boots and sip hot chocolate. It is still January! The easiest way to combat this is wearing winter boots with a slouchy sweater and summer dress. Keep it simple. How are you dressing this January?

It's hump day which means a good number of you are dreaming about the weekend. Ladylike leather with a fresh hemline helps you get weekend chic ready. If you are not in Cali where the sun always shines you may want to wear knee- high boots instead of flats. Flat riding boots will maintain the casual vibe. Have a great day!

Pleat Me

The easy movement of this dress makes me feel like I'm flirting with my surroundings! The wider pleats lend a sophistication but the details of the belt make a subtle statement. The chunky heel of my favorite Rag and Bone booties brings enough edge to balance out the softness of the dress.

On Monday's I usually try to channel the Brady Bunch and be extra chirpy, but sometimes this is just too much work. With that said I'm claiming this as my 'I don't care' outfit - checkers and leopard, enough said!

Richly colored berries always remind me of Fall and the nearing of Thanksgiving. Painting my nails in these luscious hues are usually the extent of my love for the berry shades, however these Dana Davis shoes I found in TJMaxx inspired me to wear matching tights (nylons as Americans would say)!
