Clearly this is not the weather to be wearing this attire but I'm craving the Fall so in an attempt to feel like I'm in October I ended up sweating my butt off! Not exactly the smartest thing I've done all week but not the dumbest either ;) The chunky buttons add detail to the simplicity of the cardigan and the wedge sneakers ( similar style found here) give it an athletic vibe, not to mention super comfy feel.

Flower Power people! I love this jacket and it's currently on sale at Nordi's so grab it if you're feeling it. I pretty much avoid wearing pink ( think red head that blushes easy, enough said) but the balance of retro sporty meets ladylike is just too irresistible for even this red head.

WAYF designs are simple and easy to dress up or down, which makes it all the more appealing! For a daytime look the shortness of the dress is best paired with flats ( hello TJMaxx!). My Go To Colors

I love having a go-to color I know will make my eyes pop or compliment my auburn hair. It makes those blah days easy to fix. Prints & Denim

Even though the days are warm sometimes I'm just not in the mood to wear full on Summer dresses. This dress actually has cut outs at the back but I changed the whole look by covering up with a oversized denim shirt. Coachella Inspired

Let's face it, unless you work for a rockstar Coachella fashion is not exactly everyday attire. The relaxed, carefree vibe some of the outfits give off send me into my dream world though, so I decided to put a little Polished Practical spin on this weekends fashion and voila! Lace Finish

This dress may be last season but it speaks volumes to this Spring season of fashion. Vibrant florals partially hidden under black lace is a call to that wild girl hidden under all that femininity you possess. Ok so I may be describing myself slightly- but purely in a fashion sense! I adore girly clothes, but also enjoy bringing out a sassy flavor to my outfit. While this dress looks great with heels I'm feeling rather rebellious against being entirely put together. Hence the pointed toe flats - they give this a more relaxed vibe. Don't be scared to mix prints just keep the hues limited. Happy Monday ladies! xoxo Tasha

Into the Blue

As much as I love winter fashion there's something so freeing about the simplicity of a shift dress. It's an easy go to especially now while LA is being blessed with gorgeous sunny days. Sweater Dressing

I'm sorry for the hiatus but last week was a tough one, between a trip to urgent care and ending the week by losing my voice!But I'm slowly getting back to normal. The weather here in Cali is killing me - yes it's beautiful but I really just want to wear my boots and sip hot chocolate. It is still January! The easiest way to combat this is wearing winter boots with a slouchy sweater and summer dress. Keep it simple. How are you dressing this January?
