Lace Finish
This dress may be last season but it speaks volumes to this Spring season of fashion. Vibrant florals partially hidden under black lace is a call to that wild girl hidden under all that femininity you possess. Ok so I may be describing myself slightly- but purely in a fashion sense! I adore girly clothes, but also enjoy bringing out a sassy flavor to my outfit. While this dress looks great with heels I'm feeling rather rebellious against being entirely put together. Hence the pointed toe flats - they give this a more relaxed vibe. Don't be scared to mix prints just keep the hues limited.
Happy Monday ladies!

Leather & Lace
Anthropologie Peplum, Halogen leather skirt and H&M cigar shoes
I fell in love with this leather Halogen skirt from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and couldn't imagine waiting for Fall to arrive. So voila! I paired this fantastic find with a mint lace peplum which is proving to be very versatile (see how I styled it here) and cigar shoes that add a pop to the outfit.
Would you ever wear leather in the summer?

Peplum & Hudson's
Anthropologie peplum, Hudson jeans, Ann Taylor heels
For the film showing of the documentary; Girl Rising, I knew I wanted to wear this lace peplum top from Anthropologie. The structured femininity is reminiscent of the Victorian ages. To prevent myself from looking too formal I wore my Hudson jeans. There's something about denim that always makes me feel sexy and strong all at once.
What would you have worn this peplum top with?

Lace & Army Green
Dior shades, H&M jacket and lace top, GAP jeans, Target ballet slippers
In all honesty, I put this outfit together based on my headscarf; because my hair was a complete mess! I needed something simple that wouldn't clash with the head piece - this thing can stand on its own! Nothing better than lace to do the job. To keep the lace work appropriate I paired it with an army green structured jacket, which keeps the whole look grounded.
