Black Blossoms

It may be Spring but all of a sudden there's a slight chill in the air - as my grandmother says; "Don't cast a clout till May is out". It's an old English saying that makes far more sense across the pond than it does in LA. Although the subtle pink blush of flowers across a sea of black is the right amount of Summer teasing.

Lace Finish

This dress may be last season but it speaks volumes to this Spring season of fashion. Vibrant florals partially hidden under black lace is a call to that wild girl hidden under all that femininity you possess. Ok so I may be describing myself slightly- but purely in a fashion sense! I adore girly clothes, but also enjoy bringing out a sassy flavor to my outfit. While this dress looks great with heels I'm feeling rather rebellious against being entirely put together. Hence the pointed toe flats - they give this a more relaxed vibe. Don't be scared to mix prints just keep the hues limited. Happy Monday ladies! xoxo Tasha

Pleats and Sequins

This is what I imagine Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz wearing if she time traveled to the present day. A long pleated skirt to keep it classy but paired with an attention grabbing crop top to bring out her edginess. Of course any modern day Dorothy would have to top the outfit off with sequined heels in case she needs to make a quick getaway. What do you think about the maxi skirt? Yay or nay for this season?

DIY: Glitter Mason Jars

Having a four year old, aka glitter monster often leaves me immersed in fun weekend projects, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. Naturally when I found a picture of a glitter dipped mason jar on Pinterest I got excited. It had my name written all over it. Follow these easy steps to DIY your very own mason jar.
Be sure to clean the jars first so that the paint goes on smoothly.
Use gold spray paint to cover the mason jars. Be sure to work in a well ventilated area - outside works best!
Layer on glass adhesive and then dip the bottom of the jar into glitter. Repeat as many times until you have the desired amount of glitter on jar. Glitter dipping is the safest part of the project for your mini-me to work on.
I have given these away with flowers in, pens and pencils, and even as a table decoration. They are very versatile gifts and can be used all year round. Let me know if you give the project a try! xoxo Tasha

Into the Blue

As much as I love winter fashion there's something so freeing about the simplicity of a shift dress. It's an easy go to especially now while LA is being blessed with gorgeous sunny days. If you have evening plans just throw on some black tights (Spanx are my fab new find) and the dress transitions easily to an evening ensemble. Happy Monday! xoxo Tasha

Messenger Bag

Everything about this bag when I carry it makes me feel like I have a mission to complete. The metallic edge added to a strong structure keeps it trendy while allowing me to keep my hands free to conduct interviews and take notes. I found my pot of gold - what's yours?
