 Most of you know by now how I feel about Mondays, aka Arch enemy. Well my combat method today is this fab Topshop dress that lets me feel the carefree energy I do when wearing jeans but much more office appropriate. My one regret is not wearing a long necklace, maybe even multiple strands - I think it would have given the dress more flare. How do you kick Monday's in the butt?!

Happy Hump Day - we're halfway to the weekend! I'm feeling very sassy and 'take over the world' mode today so I 'pick & mixed' my outfit. In other words a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Normally the pockets would be my favorite part of the dress but I'm in love with how versatile this eShakti dress is. It's muted colors allow it to be reserved and yet create the perfect canvas for styling it as wild as I want. Lil mama ready to hit the stage at her pre-school graduation. The school directors are from Sri Lanka so it's tradition for the graduating class to perform an Indian dance

Last week I took a little road trip to San Diego with my kids. Naturally that means we visited LegoLand and the San Diego Zoo. My little ones absolutely adored how everything was made for them at Lego Land - there were fun attractions as well as educational things to see. My daughter also graduated from pre-school and performed the Waltz which left me speechless. Paisley Blues

Another joy I (re)found amongst all the moving boxes is this paisley number. The belt is still hiding somewhere so I took inspiration from Carrie Bradshaw in the SATC movies and added a studded belt. I probably should have slipped on some heels for my corporate job but Tasha fierce said screw it and thus I stuck to these lovelies from Marshalls. By the way I can't get over dresses with pockets - love 'em so much!

Petit Fours of the week

Early birthday present that has me utterly excited! Well-Read Women is a great coffee table book, can't wait to use it as one! 
Happy Friday! If your week was as busy as mine I'm sure you're as happy as can be that it's Friday. It's officially my birthday weekend and I'm also getting the keys to my very own apartment today so I will have plenty to tell you about come Monday morning.
